Dave has served as Pastor of MFA since August 1994. His desire in ministry is to help others become life-long followers of Jesus. Before coming to Martin, he served as a Youth Pastor in Alabama & an Associate Pastor in Memphis. He has a Bachelor’s degree from Evangel University & an M.Div, from the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary. Since married to Shari in 1982, their family has grown to include 2 sons & 5 grandchildren. When not reading books or playing board games, Dave officiates High School soccer.
Shari is delighted in the privilege of being the Pastor’s Wife at MFA! She is thankful to be a part of a church family that has a heart for showing the love of Christ in and around our community. Shari enjoys working with the Children at MFA in our Children’s Church Program and Nursery. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, especially her 5 grandchildren! Shari also does a lot of crafting and painting in her small business, Joyful Journey Art. She feels that God helps her use her abilities to reach out to women to provide a fun and relaxing environment while building relationships. Her ultimate goal is to bring glory to the Lord in all that she does.
